FootGolf has arrived at Sysonby Acres! We are one of the three sites in Leicestershire to embrace this exciting new activity.

FootGolf Guidelines

  • Use of your own football is permitted, or you can borrow one from us. A football hire fee of £2.00 is required to borrow a ball.
  • Scorecards are free of charge, pencils are charged at 10p each.
  • Flag sticks should be kept in the holes and should NOT be touched at any time.
  • If you have a booking for more than twelve players please arrange for one nominated player to make payment for everyone. This is to save you time when checking in for your booked tee-off time!
These measures must be respected and followed at all times.

What is FootGolf

Football golf or FootGolf is a precision sport where players kick a football into a cup in as few shots as possible. Its name is a portmanteau of “football” and “golf” and the game combines the two sports, being more closely related to golf.

The game is played the same way as golf, except players use a football instead of a golf ball, and the ball is kicked rather than struck with a club, working towards a 21-inch “cup” in place of the usual golf hole. The player who plays the 9 or 18 holes with the fewest shots wins. FootGolf can be played on a golf course alongside regular games of golf, the holes are separate, and the lines of play often run parallel in the opposite direction!
